Here’s some fresh recommendations of outfits that currently out there in stores, with links so you can snatch them up for yourself! I’ll just list a few sites and options for you here, but take some time and explore the rest of these sites to see if there are other pieces that really speak to you. The main thing about a boudoir session, is that while you do want to push yourself out of your comfort zone, you still want the session to be totally “you”, so find pieces that speak to you, embody your personality, and bring out YOUR sexy side. <3
This sexy little strappy number is from AdoreMe.com, and is only $39.95 with their free membership, or $24.95 with a VIP membership. The best part, is that even though it comes as a “set” you can order different sizes in the bra + panties. Yaaaasssssss! If you’re built like me, you don’t wear the same size on top and bottom, so Adore me’s ability to mix/match sizes in sets is a money saver!
What about a sweet light pink set, for a romantic, yet sexy look? I got you, girl! Check out this curve-loving set from Forever 21? It comes in Small, Medium, and Large, and the pink pictured here, or the standard black. The set is only $35. However, unlike the Adore me set, both the top and bottom will be the same size. The top also doesn’t look like it’d provide a lot of support for my busty ladies, but we’re about to hit you with a hilarious video of me and some friends trying on different push-up pasties, and can recommend some good options for you there. 😉
I think I’ve been gushing about Fredrick’s of Hollywood lately, and I’ll spare you the hundreds of outfits I could link you, but just know that I personally check with Fredrick’s of Hollywood FIRST for my lingerie needs. They’ve upped their game in the sexy department, AND they’re starting to get the clue that us bigger girls want sexy lingerie too. Right now they still only have limited selections in 1xl and 2xl, but throughout the year, they have much more. Also, if you’re a size S-L, right now they’re doing a summer destash sale, and you can get some pretty AWESOME pieces for like $20-35! Score!! For this post, I chose the Bailey teddy, that they offer in 1xl/2xl. It’s on a little sale for $59.50 right now.
And last, but not least, for my girls over a size 12, I’m starting to dig Eloquii’s options. Again, for those of us over size 10 or 12, the selections are limited, and it blows, but Eloquii does have some nice options. There isn’t much variety, but it’s a lot better than most local stores, and because they cater to plus size women, the quality and support is typically better. They seem to understand that plus size doesn’t just mean, “more fabric”.
Of course, these are just a few of the outfits and things that caught my eye when I was searching. For more detailed information on what would flatter your body type, and where to shop (locally and online), pour over our prep guide that I’ll send you, after booking your session, and hit me up with your questions and comments.
